I’m Ava Coco, and I am currently a first-year undergrad at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I’ve always been particularly interested in ways to support and empower women and children from underserved communities. In 2022, during my freshman year of high school, I started Diapers for a Difference to represent my personal commitment to the work of women helping women.
As an Associate Director of Philanthropy and Community Service for Kappa Delta, Beta Chi chapter, I aim to spread the message of giving back within my collegiate community, where I am a pre-business major with a concentration in public policy. My interests outside the classroom include fitness workouts, skiing, attending sporting events, and listening to music. I also love spending time with my friends and my mini Goldendoodle.
I intend to make a difference in people’s lives with this effort, whether they are on the receiving end or the giving end of Diapers for a Difference. I hope I inspire you to help end diaper need.
