I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my 2nd annual diaper drive with the Girl Scouts! Last year, I formed an alliance with local troops who agreed to collect diapers and wipes on behalf of Diapers for a Difference for their community service effort.
The goal of this partnership is twofold: to help new parents struggling financially and to demonstrate to the troops that young people can make a difference. Each year, I share the story of how I began this effort and encourage the girls to continue donating even after the drive concludes.
As part of this partnership, I educate the troops on why this effort is so important. They learn about diaper need, collect thousands of diapers, and join me in the final distribution at local diaper banks.
