I’m excited and hopeful to share some recent news in the fight to help end diaper need. Late last month, Senator Tammy Duckworth proposed the End Diaper Need Act of 2025.
This bill aims to address the issue of diaper need by providing $200 million in funding annually from 2026 to 2029 to support programs focused on diaper distribution and related services. This funding will help expand and scale existing initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of infants, toddlers, and families facing diaper shortages.
The act proposes allocating $200 million each fiscal year from 2026 to 2029.
The funds are intended to expand programs that address the lack of access to diapers and related support services, ultimately improving the health and well-being of young children and their families.
